Multi-camera: When two or more cameras are used in recording your wedding ceremony. All of our packages are 2 or 3 multi-camera packages. See packages for details.
Pre-ceremony coverage: Just what it sounds like: coverage before the wedding! :-) Your wedding day is packed with more emotion, more fun, and more of your favorite people than any other day of your life! And if you've ordered pre-ceremony coverage, we're there to capture it all! We'll remain low-key, but we'll be there, recording this day as it unfolds. That moment where you read the note that your fiance has sent you before the wedding. Those moments when members of your bridal party joke with you about funny stories from the past, or when they talk about what your friendship has meant to them over the years, and how excited they are to be with you on this day! Most brides say that, while they enjoy their wedding day immensely, it's so packed with activity that, after the wedding, they have a hard time remembering the details of what really happened. All the planning, all the preparations, all the time with friends and family, and all the love just slips past our memories if not recorded somehow. And that's where we come in. We're "dream capturers": There to capture all those moments that you've been dreaming about all your life.
Highlights: All those memorable "wedding moments"—lighting the unity candle, ceremony kiss, first dance, cake cutting, bouquet and garter toss, reception exit, and other great highlight moments—edited together in a 3-5 minute video set to music. This video adds a real "exclamation mark" at the end of any wedding video! Included in Old School classic video package, or can be purchased separately.
Music Video: Think of this video as one that tells a story—Your story. This is a touching video, set to a song that you pick (or we can pick one for you if you need some help). The music video includes lots of great shots of bride and groom together: cute moments, special moments, funny moments, etc., all coming together to encapsulate who you are and the love that you share. This is a video that you'll want to share with the world! After all, it's not every day that you're in your own music video! Included in Reality Wedding package, or can be purchased separately.
Our Story: Ever wish you could go back in time to when your parents met? With this video, your kids will one day be able to do just that! :-) This video takes you back to when you first became a couple. In your own words, you'll recall what life was like "when Harry met Sally" (only put your own names there). We'll use the audio from your narration to tell the story, or we'll have our own narrator tell the story, if you prefer. Either way, your story will be told, complete with photos and/or video from your dating days, engagement, etc. This is a great video to show at your rehearsal dinner or reception, or even at the start of your ceremony! It's approximately 5-10 minutes in length and is included in FilmStar package, or can be purchased separately.
Photo Slideshow: Like "Our Story," the photo slideshow is a great video to play at your rehearsal dinner, reception, or while guests are being seated for your wedding ceremony. The photo slideshow can include childhood photos, dating photos, engagement photos, etc. and can be a great way to subtly share what life was like as you grew up and then became a couple. Photo slideshow includes up to 125 photos. Talk to us if you think you'll need to include more.
Wedding Trailer: Similar to a movie trailer, because it is, it's your wedding movie trailer! Styled just like a trailer you'd see before watching a flick in the cinema, this trailer is meant to lead into your wedding video and set the tone for how fabulous your day really was! Included in FilmStar package, and can also be purchased separately.
Same-Day Edit: The same day as your ceremony you can watch your video! Portions of it, at least. This video is perfect for those who want to re-live the special moments of the ceremony and reception with their reception guests. The way it works is we gather video before your wedding, during your wedding ceremony, and during the beginning of the reception, especially for this wedding day edit. We'll have an editor working on your video during the reception, and toward reception's end, we'll have a video for you to show to recap just how great your wedding day has been!
Blu-ray: The standard format for sharing high-definition video on disc. Blu-ray discs are special discs that hold much more information than regular DVDs. For this reason, they are capable of holding the large file sizes that are required with high-definition video. We currently shoot in HD, but because the demand is not yet great for HD delivery, we still deliver our wedding packages on standard definition DVDs. Our video quality is great, but it's even better when shown in true HD on a Blu-ray disc. You can order Blu-ray discs as an add-on to your package. See package page for details.
Lavalier Mic: A small, wireless microphone that we use during the ceremony to ensure that your wedding video has great audio. We typically use two wireless lavalier microphones, one on the groom and one on the officiant.
LED Light: A small, on-camera light that we use during the reception (if indoors, in dimly-lit reception locations). This light is completely dimmable and does not get hot, like many video lights, which means it is safe to use in a crowd! Trust us, the light is essential to getting great-looking video of your reception, if it's dimly lit. Our cameras perform well in low-light conditions, but any camera needs light to get the best picture and color possible. If you would prefer that we not use the light, that's OK and we'll be happy to shoot light-less. It'll just mean that your video will not look as pristine.
Shotgun Microphone: An added on-camera microphone that we use during the ceremony and reception to help gather great audio.
